Maria Chamie – Hypnotherapy Practice
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) constitute a legally binding agreement between Maria Chamie (“the Practitioner”) and the client (“the Client”).
By booking, paying for, or attending any session or program, the Client confirms full acceptance of this Agreement.
1. Scope of Services
1.1 The Practitioner provides professional hypnotherapy services for personal development and behavioural support purposes.
1.2 Services are complementary in nature and are not medical, psychiatric, or psychological treatment.
1.3 The Practitioner does not diagnose medical or mental health conditions, prescribe medication, or provide clinical healthcare services.
2. Consultation & Program Structure
2.1 A complimentary 15-minute online consultation may be offered at the Practitioner’s discretion.
No hypnotherapy intervention or treatment is conducted during this consultation.
Any indication regarding the number of sessions required is an estimate only and does not constitute a guarantee of results.
2.2 Each session shall be approximately one hour and fifteen minutes in duration and shall consist of an initial consultation discussion followed by the hypnotherapy session.
3. Fees and Payment
3.1 A non-refundable deposit of AED 200 is required to confirm a booking.
3.2 The remaining balance must be paid prior to the pre-session consultation.
3.3 If the deposit is not received within 24 hours of booking confirmation, the appointment may be cancelled without further notice.
3.4 All fees are communicated in advance and are subject to change without prior notice for future bookings.
3.5 Payment is accepted via bank transfer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
4.1 A minimum of 48 hours’ written notice is required to cancel or reschedule any confirmed session.
4.2 Failure to provide 48 hours’ notice prior to the 1-hour 15 minutes session will result in forfeiture of the session fee.
4.3 Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
4.4 Once a program has commenced, no refunds shall be issued under any circumstances.
5. No Guarantee of Outcome
5.1 The Client acknowledges that outcomes vary between individuals.
5.2 The Practitioner does not guarantee specific results.
5.3 Fees are charged for professional time, preparation, and delivery of services, not for any guaranteed outcome.
6. Medical and Psychological Conditions
6.1 The Client must disclose any relevant medical, psychiatric, or psychological conditions prior to commencing services.
6.2 The Practitioner reserves the right to request written medical clearance before proceeding.
6.3 Services will not be provided to individuals with epilepsy or active psychosis.
6.4 The Client confirms that they understand these services do not replace medical or psychiatric care.
7. Client Conduct
7.1 The Client must attend sessions free from alcohol or non-prescribed recreational drugs.
7.2 Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of services without refund.
7.3 The Practitioner reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at their discretion where professional boundaries are breached.
8. Audio Recordings
8.1 Any personalised audio recording provided is for the sole and exclusive use of the Client.
8.2 Recordings may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, shared, or sold.
8.3 The Client agrees not to listen to recordings while driving, operating machinery, or performing activities requiring full concentration.
9. Confidentiality
9.1 All Client information shall be treated as confidential in accordance with applicable UAE laws.
9.2 Confidentiality may be breached only in the following circumstances:

Where required by UAE law or court order

Where there is a risk of harm to the Client or others

Where a vulnerable person is at risk

Where written consent is provided by the Client
9.3 The Practitioner may discuss cases anonymously without revealing identifying information.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of the United Arab Emirates, the Practitioner shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or economic loss arising from participation in services.
10.2 The Client agrees that participation in hypnotherapy services is voluntary and undertaken at their own discretion.
10.3 The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Practitioner against any claims arising from their participation.
11. Data Protection
11.1 Personal information is collected and processed solely for the purpose of delivering professional services.
11.2 By booking services, the Client consents to the collection, storage, and processing of their data in accordance with UAE data protection regulations and the Practice Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
12.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates.
12.2 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, UAE.
